As we embark on another Fall season once again, we’re reflecting on all we’ve done together the last months; the first five months as Opera UnTapped!  We welcomed warmer temps with Flowers & Opera in Brookline again, and in a newly unveiled space at the Allstonway.  We broke bread over memorable meals with new friends in Connecticut for two operatic retreats at the breathtaking Little Dipper Farm.  West of Boston, we took Arias Aloft on tour, bringing Chromatic to first-time and recurring audiences alike at deCordova Sculpture Park and New England Botanic Garden, where the physical virtuosity of our friends at Circus 617 helped highlight the colors of nature.  We even brought Arias Aloft to the CommonStage in Boston as a pre-performance before Commonwealth Shakespeare’s production of A Midsummer Night’s Dream!  We kicked off this fresh school year with UnTapped Adventures in Our Little Songbook, our first collaboration with Little Songbook Opera.  An Afternoon with Roy, G., & Biv at the Melrose Public Library was an opportunity to sing, dance, and explore with our littlest patrons, (and future opera lovers!)  Finally, we returned to the Allstonway with our final Arias Aloft program in the summer light to help kick off what always feels like the start of a new beginning this time of year.
